Child support over the years has changed it’s meaning and these orders should be a fair directive to ensure that a child is supported fairly by each parent. I could go into massive details on the problems with today’s child support system but I do not feel that’s necessary because if you’re already here, you know. I will cover a few small details with that problem.
In 2017, it had been 9 years since I had seen or held my beautiful daughter in my arms. That last time was February 13th, 2008. I fought several times until 2013 until finally giving in to defeat. I accepted that I would never see my daughter again. My place in her life was dumbed down to simply a paycheck. I had to sit and watch her believe someone else was her father and there was nothing I could do about. Unless you are in this situation you will never understand the pain and torment you endure feeling this way.
Earlier this week, when I felt like there was no hope, no point, in fighting a corrupt family court system in my own battle, the Idaho Fathers’ Rights Movement page directed me to this story shared on the Minnesota Shared Parenting Action Group.
I follow so many father’s rights advocacy groups, so I see every single day the things fathers say about their children’s mother. I know how you guys may feel, and I fully understand that it may be justifiable. However, I really want you all to remember this. Regardless of the past, regardless of the present, regardless of the future, she will always be your child’s mother.
